Starhill Global REIT, a Singapore-based real estate investment trust, focuses its investments on retail and office properties situated in Singapore and various international markets. Since its initial public offering on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) on September 20, 2005, the trust has substantially expanded its holdings. Its portfolio has grown from stakes in two iconic Orchard Road properties to ten assets distributed across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, China, and Japan, with a total valuation of approximately S$2.9 billion. These key properties include Singapore's Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City, Australia's Myer Centre Adelaide, David Jones Building, and Plaza Arcade (in Adelaide and Perth), Kuala Lumpur's The Starhill and Lot 10 in Malaysia, a retail property in Chengdu, China, and two properties in Tokyo, Japan. The REIT maintains a strategic commitment to identifying compelling new property acquisitions globally, while simultaneously enhancing the value of its current portfolio through proactive tenant engagement and creative property upgrades. Starhill Global REIT is overseen by an external manager, YTL Starhill Global REIT Management Limited, which is entirely and indirectly owned by YTL Corporation Berhad.
