We are reiterating our BUY rating and raising the target price to $31 from $29 on Regions Financial Corp. (NYSE: RF), reflecting a more positive macro environment and growth in RF’s Capital Markets and Wealth Management. We believe that the lending pipeline and Capital Markets activity is growing on optimism that the Fed will lower short-term rates (albeit at a slower pace) therefore creating a steeper yield curve. On the 4Q earnings call, RF management noted record growth in Wealth Management and expects that deposits will grow at a low single-digit pace in 2026 due to the long-term relationships with both its commercial and consumer base. We also expect the net interest margin to remain near the 3.5-3.70% level, higher than other peers.
