Lindsay Corp.
Lindsay Corporation is an international enterprise specializing in comprehensive solutions for water management and road infrastructure. The company's operations are structured into two main divisions. The Irrigation segment develops and distributes a wide array of irrigation technologies. This encompasses center pivot and lateral move irrigation systems under the Zimmatic brand, Perrot and Greenfield hose reel travelers, and the GrowSmart line of chemical injection systems, variable rate irrigation tools, flow meters, weather stations, soil moisture sensors, and advanced remote monitoring and control systems. This division also provides essential repair and replacement parts, along with sophisticated technological solutions including global positioning system guidance, wireless irrigation management, scheduling applications, and smartphone integration. Furthermore, it offers industrial Internet of Things (IoT) technology solutions, data acquisition and management systems, and bespoke electronic equipment for various applications, all under the Elecsys brand. It also provides re-directive and non-re-directive crash cushions, strategically deployed to improve highway safety at locations such as toll booths, freeway off-ramps, median and roadside barrier ends, bridge supports, and utility poles. This segment's portfolio is rounded out by specialty barrier products, road marking and safety equipment, railroad signals and structures, and large-diameter steel tubing. Additionally, it offers outsourced manufacturing and production services to other companies. Lindsay Corporation's customer base includes departments of transportation, municipal transportation agencies, roadway contractors, subcontractors, distributors, and dealers. The company was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.

Earnings Call Sentiment|Neutral
The call communicated a mixed but balanced outlook: near-term challenges in the core irrigation business (declining revenues, margin pressure, constrained Brazil financing, drought and soft North American demand) are offset by positives including infrastructure growth (+8%), large project backlog (an $80M Middle East order), strong liquidity ($204.8M), continued buybacks, operational capacity upgrades (tube mill online; galvanizing facility coming in 2027), and expected double-digit technology revenue growth. Management is taking cost and restructuring actions to improve efficiency with savings targeted for fiscal 2027.View all LNN earnings summariesLNN Stock 12 Month Forecast
