DiaSorin S.p.A. specializes in the creation, production, and global distribution of both immunodiagnostic and molecular diagnostic testing kits. Their extensive reach covers Europe, Africa, North, Central, and South America, the Asia Pacific region, and China. The company's offerings include a suite of immunodiagnostic LIAISON platforms, such as the LIAISON XS, LIAISON XL, and LIAISON XL LAS. For molecular diagnostics, they provide the LIAISON MDX system, which is utilized for amplifying nucleic acids to identify viruses in patient samples, thereby enabling the diagnosis of viral infections. DiaSorin has also established key collaborations: a partnership with QIAGEN focuses on a diagnostic solution for latent tuberculosis detection; another with TTP is for advancing molecular Point-of-Care solutions; and a third with MeMed aims to introduce a test capable of distinguishing between viral and bacterial infections. This enterprise, established in 1968, has its corporate headquarters situated in Saluggia, Italy.
