What is Quant?
Quant
Launched in 2018 by Gilbert Verdian and Dr. Paolo Tasca, the Quant Network works on providing interoperability between blockchains and networks. Quant is the first operating system for blockchains. Its Overledger, a blockchain-agnostic API gateway, can connect businesses to multiple distributed ledger networks.
Importantly, with Overledger, an application can be connected with other applications on a blockchain. With Quant’s multi-chain API, any application can be deployed on any blockchain, ensuring lower costs and wider access.
Quant has already partnered with well-recognized names including Oracle, Volo and Nexi Group. The max supply of QNT tokens is capped at about 14.6 million.
