The company operates a multi-format retail strategy, including Puregold-branded hypermarkets strategically located in bustling commercial areas and near major transportation hubs. Additionally, it manages supermarkets under the San Roque and Merkado names, along with S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses for bulk purchasing. Its operations also extend to quick-service restaurants through S&R New York Style Pizza outlets. Its extensive product offerings span canned goods, various household items, toiletries, dry goods, general food products, and even pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Puregold caters to a wide customer base, serving individual retail consumers directly, as well as a significant wholesale segment. This wholesale clientele includes resellers, small to medium-sized "sari-sari" stores, canteens, restaurants, bakeries, convenience and drug stores, and other small to medium-sized businesses. As of May 20, 2022, the company boasted an impressive network of 437 operational stores. Puregold Price Club, Inc. was established in 1998 and its corporate headquarters are located in Manila, Philippines.
