Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Free Cash Flow And Capital ReturnsProjected stronger free cash flow as peak capital spending fades could enable debt reduction, resumption of dividends and additional share buybacks to support the share price.
Premium Asset EnhancementsConversion of a hotel into luxury suites at the flagship Macau resort should attract higher-spending premium mass customers and improve revenue mix.
Valuation ReratingAnalyst upgrade highlights that the stock trades at a discount to peers and recent historical valuation, suggesting upside if investors re-rate the shares.
Bears Say
Macau Competitive IntensityPersistent intensity in Macau's competitive landscape could constrain market share gains and reduce pricing power at key properties.
Margin Compression RiskElevated operating costs and promotional intensity may compress margins and limit near-term profitability improvement.
Trademark Licensing Cost IncreaseRising trademark licensing fees could raise operating costs and weigh on margins despite analyst estimates of a limited EBITDA impact.

MLCO Earnings Call
Q1 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Positive
The call conveyed a predominantly positive operational and financial trajectory: strong full-year EBITDA growth, robust Macau recovery (including a 24% GGR uptick in early 2026), meaningful liquidity and active debt reduction, large-capex refurbishment plans (Countdown Hotel), and standout growth in Cyprus. Offsetting items included localized underperformance in the Philippines with strategic uncertainty at COD Manila, several event-driven and one-time cost pressures (bad debt, higher OpEx from events), and a forthcoming trademark fee increase. Management framed many negatives as one-offs or manageable and emphasized disciplined cost control and margin focus, supporting continued optimism.View all MLCO earnings summariesMLCO Stock 12 Month Forecast
