Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Sustained Revenue ScaleThe company has delivered multi-year top-line expansion, scaling revenue nearly fourfold over FY2021–FY2026. Durable volume and customer traction across mining and infrastructure markets support predictable demand and provide a larger base for margin recovery and further operational leverage over the next few quarters.
High Profitability & ROEConsistently strong gross and net margins, together with very high ROE, indicate competitive product economics and efficient capital use. These structural profitability metrics suggest the business can generate attractive returns on incremental sales and sustain cash earnings when revenue momentum holds.
Conservative Leverage RatioA low debt-to-equity ratio after recent improvement gives the company financial flexibility to fund growth and capex. For a capital-intensive specialty chemicals/explosives business, conservative leverage supports durable investment capacity and lowers refinancing risk over the medium term.
Bears Say
Weak Cash ConversionCash generation deteriorated sharply in FY2026, with operating cash far below reported earnings and a large negative free cash flow. Persistent weak cash conversion limits internal funding for capex or working capital, increases reliance on external financing, and heightens vulnerability to market stress.
Margin VolatilityNotable gross margin compression despite rising revenue signals sensitivity to input costs, product mix, or pricing dynamics. Ongoing margin variability undermines cash flow predictability and could pressure earnings resilience if commodity or competitive dynamics deteriorate in the medium term.
Rising Absolute DebtWhile leverage ratios are moderate, absolute debt has nearly doubled as the company expands. Higher nominal debt increases interest and refinancing exposure, especially given weaker cash conversion, and requires disciplined execution to avoid leverage creep if growth or margins falter.
