Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Strong Free Cash Flow GenerationConsistent positive free cash flow (2023–2025) with FCF up ~20% in 2025 and ~82% conversion of net income provides durable internal funding for capital expenditure, dividends, and debt reduction. High conversion supports resilience through Macau cyclical tourism swings.
Material Return To High MarginsSustained high TTM margins across gross, EBIT and net indicate structural cost control and operating leverage in integrated resort operations. Such margin durability enhances cash generation per revenue dollar and cushions profitability if volumes soften.
Integrated-resort, Diversified Revenue MixA diversified resort model (casino, hotel rooms, F&B, retail, entertainment) reduces reliance on a single revenue stream, enables cross-selling, and captures tourism spend. This structural mix supports steadier margins and multiple recovery pathways as Macau visitation normalizes.
Bears Say
High Leverage And Volatile Capital StructureElevated debt and a history of negative equity leave limited balance-sheet cushion. High leverage constrains financial flexibility, raises refinancing and interest-rate exposure, and increases downside risk if Macau demand or cash flow weaken over the medium term.
Sharp 2025 Revenue DeclineA near 39% revenue drop in 2025 is a structural red flag for top-line resilience. Even with margin expansion, sustained revenue weakness pressures cash flow, limits ability to deleverage, and suggests reliance on cost cuts or one-off factors rather than robust demand recovery.
Operating Cash Flow Covers <100% Of Net IncomeOCF covering ~75% of net income indicates timing or working-capital strains that reduce true cash availability. This gap makes free cash flow and debt reduction more sensitive to receivables, payables and inventory swings, limiting durable liquidity improvement.
