Strong Q4 Performance
Q4 sales reached EUR 4.1 billion, growing 10% at constant exchange rates, with double-digit growth in Europe, Japan, America and the Middle East; Asia ex-Japan grew 8% in Q4.
Robust Division Growth Led by Leather Goods
Leather Goods & Saddlery grew 13%; Clothes & Accessories +6%; Silk & Textile +5%; Other divisions (including Jewellery and Home) +11%.
Geographic Strength and Balance
All regions posted growth: Japan +14%, Europe +11%, America +12%, France +9%, Other zones (incl. Middle East) +15%, maintaining a balanced geographic mix.
High Profitability and Margin Expansion
Recurring operating income rose to EUR 6.6 billion (+7% YoY). Recurring operating profitability reached 41.0% (up 0.5 percentage points). Gross margin improved to 71.1% from 70.3% in 2024.
Strong Cash Generation and Financial Position
Business cash flow up 11%; operating cash flow EUR 5.6 billion; adjusted free cash flow EUR 3.9 billion. Net cash position rose by ~EUR 700 million to EUR 12.8 billion; cash represents >50% of assets.
Sustained Investment in Capacity and Stores
Operational investments reached EUR 1.2 billion (up materially vs prior year), including EUR 769 million for strategic retail network projects and EUR 226 million to increase production capacity (new leather workshops and other sites).
Workforce Expansion and Employee Share
Hermès onboarded an additional 1,300 people in 2025 (60% in France), created 6,200 jobs over 3 years, paid EUR 328 million to employees (bonus/incentives/profit sharing) and granted a EUR 3,000 bonus to each of ~26,000 employees.
Strong CSR & Sustainability Progress
Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduced by 69% in absolute terms vs 2018; Scope 3 intensity improved by 58% over the same period. Inclusion metrics: 49% female representation in top 100 positions; inclusion in CDP A List and improved Sustainalytics rating.
Retail & Brand Engagement Initiatives
Opened new stores (Scottsdale, Nashville), ~15 extensions/renovations planned (incl. Florence, Macau, Changsha), Hermestories and Hermes in the Making attracted >66,000 visitors; launched new product successes and collections across Jewellery, Home and Ready-to-wear.
Shareholder Returns
Proposed ordinary dividend EUR 18 per share (39% payout excluding exceptional contribution) and interim dividend scheduled, continuing a shareholder-return policy funded from strong cash generation.
