Company Description
Lithium Americas Corp.
Lithium Americas is a pure-play North American lithium company focused on advancing the 100%-owned Thacker Pass to production. Thacker Pass is located in northern Nevada and is the largest known Measured and Indicated (M&I) lithium resource in the U.S. The project commenced construction in early 2023 and is expected to employ over 1,000 workers during construction and create 500 permanent jobs during operations over its 40-year mine life. The company trades on both the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: LAC) and on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: LAC).
