It helps stakers and liquidity providers get better value for their activities on this platform by providing higher incentives to hold onto their funds. The platform features no withdrawal costs and low performance fees. Convex Finance operates using the Ethereum blockchain and the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. Liquidity providers can deposit their Curve LP tokens on Convex to generate curve trading fees as well as boosted CRV and CVX tokens. Stakers, too, can earn additional CRV tokens and curve trading fees on the platform. The max supply of CVX tokens is capped at 100 million.
