Compound Price (COMP-USD)

Created by Robert Leshner and Geoffrey Hayes in 2017, this open-lending platform enables users to earn interest on their deposits or avail a secured loan. As a community, COMP token holders can also govern on the next trajectory and development of the platform. Further, Compound III is EVM compatible, enabling the supply of crypto assets as collateral so users can borrow in base assets. In each market, the distribution of COMP tokens is split between suppliers and borrowers and users can receive more tokens by increasing their usage. The initial deploymentof Compound III is on Ethereum, with the base asset being USDC. The max supply of COMP coins is capped at 10 million.
