This blockchain-powered game enables participants to rear, collect and trade creatures (Axies) that are tokenized. Partially owned and operated by its players, the game also allows players to earn AXS tokens.
Further, in the Axie economy, players can breed new creatures, own a breeding business and sell the creatures on the Axie marketplace or become land barons who create their own kingdoms.
In essence, Axie Infinity strives to onboard the world to Web3 with this game. To provide scalability, Axie Infinity has created a sidechain known as the Ronin Network. The maximum supply of Axie tokens is capped at 270 million.
