Strong Revenue, Bookings and Member Growth
Revenue grew 19.7% YoY to $253 million. Total bookings increased 40.8% YoY to $291.7 million. Active CLEAR+ members rose 13% YoY to 8.2 million.
Material Profitability and Cash Generation Improvement
Adjusted EBITDA was $80.6 million with a 31.9% margin (≈32%), representing 7.2 percentage points of margin expansion YoY. Operating income was $62 million. Net cash provided by operating activities was $190.4 million.
Free Cash Flow More Than Doubled
Free cash flow doubled YoY to $185.5 million, a 103.2% increase year-over-year. Full-year FCF guidance was raised from at least $440 million to at least $465 million (management noted this implies roughly $120M increase YoY and ~36% YoY growth).
CLEAR1 Enterprise Momentum
CLEAR1 bookings were approximately 5x those of Q1 last year, with record large multiyear enterprise contracts and more signed deals (7-figure deals up). Management highlighted pipeline growth and strong net revenue retention.
Travel Experience Improvements Driving Retention
eGates now cover over 50% of the network with a plan to exceed 80% by end of Q2. CLEAR Plus average wait time is under 1 minute; one-step biometric entry takes ~5 seconds. NPS reached a 3-year high and mobile app adoption doubled; app ranked #4 in the Travel App Store.
Concierge Expansion and High-Margin Services
Demand for Concierge increased dramatically; service now offered in 32 airports. Management positioned Concierge as a high-margin, premium offering with plans for aggressive scaling.
Strong Balance Sheet and Financial Flexibility
Ended the quarter with $800 million in cash and marketable securities, providing strategic flexibility to invest in product, marketing and GovTech opportunities (FedRAMP milestone achieved).
