North Valley Resources has completed new compilation and interpretation work that positions its fully permitted Comstock Project as a district-scale copper-gold opportunity, consolidating 4,462 hectares and 33 historic showings under single ownership in a prolific southern B.C. mining camp. Building on limited but encouraging 1988 drilling at the Original-Diane Zone—conducted during a period of depressed copper prices that curtailed sampling—the company has identified untested geophysical targets and an 8 km by 3 km mineralized corridor with strong geological similarities to nearby porphyry and epithermal systems, and is preparing a follow-up drill program from a newly secured 100-site permit to test deeper copper-gold potential and enhance the project’s development prospects.
