Orea Mining Corp.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Orea Mining Corp. was founded in 2003 and specializes in the identification, exploration, and development of mineral properties, primarily targeting gold. Its operations are centered in France and South America. The company holds significant interests in French Guiana, including the Montagne d'Or Gold Deposit, which spans approximately 190 square kilometers across eight mining concessions and two exclusive exploration permits. Also in eastern French Guiana, Orea controls the Maripa project, comprising five contiguous exploration permits covering about 120 square kilometers. Furthermore, Orea Mining Corp. possesses an option to acquire a 75% ownership stake in a project situated in Suriname, South America. The company rebranded from Columbus Gold Corp. to Orea Mining Corp. in June 2020.
