Operational EBITDA (OEBITDA) was $116.3 million in Q1. Management affirmed full-year OEBITDA guidance of $480 million to $490 million for 2026 and noted the adjusted (no cash-only comp change) OEBITDA range would be $497 million to $507 million.
Voice & Data Strength and ARPU Improvement
Voice and data revenue rose 3% year-over-year to $57.4 million. Average revenue per user (ARPU) increased 7% year-over-year, with management expecting ARPU to remain about $48 for the remainder of the year.
Commercial IoT Growth and Subscriber Stabilization

Strong New Product & Standards Progress (9604, ASIC, NTN Direct)
Product pipeline momentum: Iridium 9604 tri-mode module on track for commercial availability in June; new PNT ASIC rolling out in July (>100 companies expressed interest); Iridium NTN Direct progressing toward commercial launch later this year with 7 MNO agreements signed and live demonstrations to partners.
Engineering & Support and Government Momentum
Engineering and support revenue increased to $40.8 million from $37.5 million a year earlier (~+8.8%). Government service revenue rose modestly to $27.6 million, supported by EMSS contract step-ups and growing national security work (Space Development Agency and other government engagements).
Strong Free Cash Flow Outlook and Shareholder Returns
Projected pro forma free cash flow of about $318 million for 2026 and management expects $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion of free cash flow over the remainder of the decade. Cash and equivalents were $111.6 million at quarter-end and the company paid a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share.
Clear Strategic Focus on Four Growth Pillars
Management reiterated focus on four prioritized growth areas (IoT, PNT, national security, aviation safety). They reaffirm targets such as PNT potentially driving at least $100 million in annual revenue by 2030 and emphasized complementary positioning versus large D2D entrants.
