Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Improving Leverage & ROECapital structure has materially improved from extreme 2020 leverage, and a rebuilt equity base with ~16% ROE in 2025 indicates management is generating attractive returns on invested capital. This increases resilience and the firm's ability to fund operations and reinvest over the medium term.
Positive Operating And Free Cash FlowReturning to positive operating cash flow and free cash flow shows the business can internally fund working capital and some investment needs. Even with choppiness, consistent positive cash generation reduces reliance on external funding and supports durable operational continuity.
Recovered Net ProfitabilityThe company moved from a loss in 2021 to solid net profits and a ~10.5% net margin in 2025, demonstrating an ability to restore bottom-line profitability. This recovery underpins retained earnings, supports credit profiles, and provides a foundation for long-term value creation if sustained.
Bears Say
Revenue DeclineA near 15% revenue drop signals durable end-market softness or loss of volume that reduces scale benefits. Lower top-line makes it harder to cover fixed costs, compresses margins, and limits reinvestment capacity, posing a structural headwind to medium-term earnings stability.
Very Thin Operating MarginOperating profitability has eroded to a thin ~1.4%, leaving little buffer against raw material cost swings or weaker pricing. In a cyclical steel industry, such narrow operating margins increase the chance that modest revenue or cost shocks will push operating income negative, threatening durable profit generation.
Volatile And Weakening Free Cash FlowA 54% decline in free cash flow and erratic cash conversion indicate working-capital volatility and potential earnings quality issues. Volatile FCF undermines the firm's ability to reliably service debt, fund capex, or return capital, reducing strategic flexibility in adverse cycles.
