Solid Growth in Sales and Operating Income
Hermès reported a solid growth with sales reaching EUR 8 billion, up by 8% at constant rates, and a 6% increase in current operating income. All regions showed progress, reflecting the strength of the Hermès model.
Expansion of Production Capacity
Hermès is pursuing investments in production capacity with four new leather workshops planned over the next four years, including the Maroquinerie de L'Isle d'Espanac in Charente set to open in September.
Strong Geographical Performance
All regions experienced growth: Europe (excluding France) up 13%, France up 9%, Japan up 16%, Asia up 3%, and America up 12%.
Leather and Saddles Division Growth
The Leather and Saddles division reported a 12% growth, maintaining its annual trajectory through increased production capacity.
Financial Robustness
Hermès posted an operating income of EUR 3.3 billion and a net profit of EUR 2.5 billion, both up 6%. Adjusted available cash flow stands at EUR 1.8 billion.
