Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Sustained ProfitabilityThe company returned to positive net income from 2022 through 2025, creating a durable earnings base. Sustained profitability improves the firm’s ability to fund R&D, support customer qualification cycles in aerospace/industrial markets, and absorb cyclical downturns without relying on external financing.
Solid Balance SheetEquity has risen and debt has declined from prior years, with moderate leverage (~0.28–0.32 historically). This stronger capitalization increases financial flexibility, lowers refinancing risk, and supports investment in capacity or product development that is critical for long-lead MEMS customer programs.
Diversified Revenue Streams & Steady Gross MarginRevenue mix across finished MEMS products, foundry/manufacturing services, and engineering/NRE provides multiple cash engines. A steady ~40% gross margin means core manufacturing economics are resilient, helping sustain margins even if product volumes fluctuate across industrial and aerospace/defense cycles.
Bears Say
Declining Revenue And Compressed MarginsTop-line weakness since 2023 with materially compressed net margins reduces operating leverage and long-term earnings power. If revenue erosion continues, fixed-cost absorption and R&D funding could suffer, making sustained profitability and margin recovery more difficult over the medium term.
Volatile Cash Flow And Data GapsIntermittent negative free cash flow and volatility weaken confidence in the company’s cash conversion cycle. Missing 2025 ratio visibility compounds uncertainty, which can constrain the firm’s ability to sustainably fund capex, ramp production for customer programs, or build reserves against cyclical downturns.
Small Scale And Slowing GrowthSmall headcount and recent negative revenue and EPS growth indicate limited scale and exposure to program timing or customer concentration. Lower scale can reduce bargaining power with suppliers/customers, slow R&D throughput, and make the business more sensitive to single large-program shifts in aerospace/industrial markets.
