We have a Buy rating with R$57 PO due to discounted valuation (60% upside potential). R$5.8bn “cash” EBITDA, -15% vs BofAe ELET’s reported R$6.3bn EBITDA was impacted by one-offs and provisions reversal in the quarter: 1) R$885mn provisions reversal (R$400mn related to Amazonas Energia delinquency and R$300mn from “compulsory loans”) and 2) R$313mn write-off of funds from escrow accounts. Adjusting by one-offs and provisions, ELET’s EBITDA came at R$5.8bn, 15% below our estimates but mostly in-line with Bloomberg consensus. Into the bottom-line, Eletrobras reported a R$2.4bn negative financial result (fair in-line with BofAe) leading to a R$2.5bn net income (vs R$2.9bn BofAe). Net debt decreased ~R$3.8bn QoQ.
