Record Financial Performance in 2025
Revenues rose to EUR 73.4 billion (+6% year-on-year). EBIT adjusted increased to EUR 7.1 billion (from EUR 5.4 billion in 2024, ~+31.5%). Net income reached a record EUR 5.2 billion. Free cash flow before customer financing was EUR 4.6 billion and free cash flow including customer financing was EUR 4.8 billion. EPS reported EUR 6.61 and EPS adjusted EUR 6.89. Proposed dividend EUR 3.20 per share (~50% payout ratio).
Strong Commercial Orders and Backlog
Airbus booked 1,000 gross orders in 2025 (net orders 889 after 111 cancellations) and closed the year with a record backlog of 8,754 aircraft (group backlog value EUR 619 billion). Book-to-bill remained above 1 across businesses.
Delivery Performance and Q4 Strength
Full-year deliveries met updated guidance at 793 aircraft delivered to 91 customers. Q4 deliveries were strong at 286 aircraft. Delivery breakdown: A220 = 93, A320 family = 607 (including 387 A321s; A321s were 64% of A320 family deliveries), wide-bodies = 93 (36 A330, 57 A350).
Defense & Space and Helicopters Momentum
Airbus Defense & Space recorded order intake of EUR 17.7 billion in 2025 (book-to-bill ~1.3) and Defense orders (excluding JVs) exceeded EUR 20 billion (~+50% year-on-year). Defense & Space revenues rose ~11% to EUR 13.4 billion with EBIT EUR 798 million. Helicopters booked 536 net orders (vs 450 prior year, ~+19%), delivered 392 helicopters (+31 vs 2024) and revenues grew ~13% to around EUR 9 billion with EBIT adjusted EUR 925 million.
Strategic Industrial Moves and Integration
Closed acquisition of certain Spirit AeroSystems work packages (8 Dec) to secure production flow for A220/A350; strategic industrial consolidation initiatives with Leonardo and Thales in space; commitments to ramp industrial footprint to support long-term demand and next single-aisle generation.
Strong Liquidity and FX Hedging Position
Net cash position of EUR 12.2 billion at year-end and liquidity around EUR 35 billion. U.S. dollar coverage portfolio USD 75.8 billion at an average blended rate of $1.22, providing protected view for near-term FX exposure.
Guidance for 2026 with Continued Profitability
2026 targets (before M&A): around 870 commercial aircraft deliveries, EBIT adjusted around EUR 7.5 billion, and free cash flow before customer financing around EUR 4.5 billion — reflecting continued growth ambitions despite near-term headwinds.
