The company presents diverse personal insurance solutions, such as protection for travel, motor vehicles, personal accidents, and home contents. Its specialized offerings include professional indemnity for directors and officers, along with comprehensive all-risks policies for contractors and erection projects. UOI's extensive general insurance portfolio covers various categories, including fire, various all-risks perils, business interruption, machinery and equipment breakdowns, burglary/theft, financial losses, marine cargo damage, fidelity guarantee, plate glass, and public liability. Moreover, it offers corporate and group solutions like work injury compensation, group personal accident schemes, and group business/corporate travel insurance, in addition to customized package insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises. A unique product is Takaful, an Islamic financial assurance designed to address misfortunes, accidents, or disasters. Established and based in Singapore in 1971, UOI operates as a subsidiary of United Overseas Bank Limited.
