EVN AG is a leading provider of energy and environmental services, serving private households, businesses, and municipalities in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, and Albania. The company's energy activities involve generating electricity from both thermal and renewable sources, as well as procuring, trading, and distributing electricity and natural gas to customers and on wholesale markets. It also produces and sells heat. Furthermore, EVN AG operates regional networks for electricity, natural gas, cable television, and telecommunications. In its environmental sector, the firm delivers services including drinking water supply, wastewater disposal and treatment, and thermal waste utilization, alongside pursuing international project business in these areas. EVN AG was founded in 1922, is headquartered in Maria Enzersdorf, Austria, and functions as a subsidiary of NÖ Landes-Beteiligungsholding GmbH.
