Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Improving Leverage And Solid ROEDebt-to-equity falling to ~0.53 and growing equity improves financial flexibility and reduces refinancing risk. Sustained ROE around 14–16% indicates the business can generate respectable returns on capital, supporting reinvestment capacity and dividend funding over the medium term.
Strong Free Cash Flow GenerationConsistent positive operating and free cash flow, and a strong 2025 rebound, show the business converts earnings into cash. High FCF coverage of net income supports capital expenditure, working capital needs and shareholder returns, and provides a buffer during cyclical downturns.
Diversified Aluminium Product And Service MixA vertically integrated model—manufacturing, distribution and value-added processing—broadens revenue streams and raises customer stickiness. Serving multiple end-markets and offering fabrication services helps capture higher margins and reduces reliance on a single demand cycle over the medium term.
Bears Say
Weakened Operating Profitability In 2025A shift to negative EBIT and very thin EBITDA in 2025 signals deterioration in core operating economics and lower earnings quality. If sustained, weaker operating margins reduce capacity to self-fund growth, increase sensitivity to cost shocks, and pressure returns to shareholders.
Cyclicality And Input-cost Pass-through RiskHeavy exposure to construction and industrial cycles and to aluminium commodity costs creates structural earnings volatility. Limited or lagged ability to pass through input-price swings can compress margins during adverse commodity or demand environments over multiple quarters.
Cashflow Volatility And Remaining Debt ExposureAlthough leverage improved, the company still carries meaningful debt and has shown historical FCF variability (notably negative FCF in 2022). Continued cash volatility would heighten refinancing and liquidity risk, especially if operating margins remain weak across cycles.
