Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
China OperationsStronger China operations, supported by higher sales and improved soybean crushing performance, can lift group revenue and stabilize earnings across agribusiness and food segments.
Financing CostsA lower interest rate environment can reduce trade-finance costs for a business with high working capital needs, improving profitability and free cash flow.
Food Products SalesHigher sales volume in the Food Products segment can expand top-line growth and support margin recovery through increased downstream sales.
Bears Say
Indonesia Cooking Oil CaseThe Indonesia cooking oil case is keeping market sentiment cautious, potentially capping share price upside until regulatory clarity is achieved.
Legal And Compliance RiskConviction of the General Manager at the Indonesian sugar subsidiary over alleged unlawful raw sugar import actions elevates legal and reputational risk that could pressure the stock.
Policy And Consumer Demand RiskFurther adverse court rulings or policy changes, together with weaker-than-expected consumer spending, could reduce demand and materially weaken earnings momentum.
