Bulls Say
Diverse Product And Revenue StreamsTejas generates revenue from hardware, solutions/projects, services (AMCs, spares) and software/licenses. This multi-stream model provides durable revenue diversification, supports recurring service income, and reduces single-market exposure across operator, enterprise and government contracts.
Broad Optical And Packet Product PortfolioA wide product set across optical transport, IP/MPLS, access/backhaul and management software enables end-to-end solutions for customers. That breadth supports cross-selling, higher share-of-wallet in network upgrades, and relevance to long-term telecom infrastructure spends and government programs.
Sizable Equity Base Provides BufferA material equity base relative to assets offers balance-sheet buffer to absorb cyclical setbacks and support continued R&D, deliveries and contract performance. This capital cushion helps the company withstand near-term losses while pursuing recovery and contract execution.
Bears Say
Sharp FY2026 Revenue And Profit CollapseA 78% revenue decline and deep negative margins signal structural demand, pricing or execution failures that materially impair scale and cost absorption. Such a dramatic reversal undermines predictability, weakens competitive position, and raises the hurdle for sustained operational recovery over months.
Multi-year Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowConsistent cash burn over several years increases liquidity and funding risk, constraining investments in product development, inventory and working capital. Persistent negative operating and free cash flow raise the likelihood of refinancing, asset sales, or dilution to sustain operations.
Rising Leverage Reduces Financial FlexibilityHigher debt levels amid losses elevate interest and refinancing risk, limiting the firm's ability to invest or bid on large multi-year contracts. With weak cash generation, increased leverage constrains strategic optionality and raises the probability of cost-cutting or distressed financing choices.
