System-wide RevPAR increased 3.6% year-over-year in Q1 2026, with sequential monthly improvement in the U.S. and broad growth across chain scales, brands and segments.
Strong Adjusted EBITDA and EPS
Adjusted EBITDA was $901 million in Q1, up 13% year-over-year and above the high end of guidance. Diluted EPS (adjusted for special items) was $2.01 for the quarter.
Fee Revenue Expansion
Management and franchise fees grew 10.4% year-over-year in the quarter, reflecting higher system revenues and expanding fee-based business.
Robust Development and Net Unit Growth
Opened 131 hotels (over 16,000 rooms) in Q1 — Hilton's second strongest Q1 for openings. Pipeline reached a record ~527,000 rooms with more rooms under construction than any other hotel company; company expects net unit growth of 6%–7% for the full year.
Regional Outperformance
Regional RevPAR strength: APAC ex China +9.1% (Q1), Europe +6.9% (Q1), Americas ex-U.S. +4.4% (Q1), U.S. comparable RevPAR +3.4% (Q1).
Capital Return to Shareholders
Returned more than $860 million to shareholders in Q1 and remains on track to return approximately $3.5 billion to shareholders for full-year 2026 (dividends + buybacks).
