Gnosis Price (GNO-USD)

Launched in 2015 by Martin Koeppelmann and Stefan George, Gnosis is focused on developing prediction markets to facilitate global access to accurate information. The objective of Gnosis has always been on experimentation and the development of a decentralized infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem. The Gnosis Proof-of-Stake (PoS) beacon chain took the place of its Proof-of-Authority (PoA) chain in December 2022, through the current Gnosis version of the Merge. The number of Gnosis Safes built to date has exceeded 26,000, and they now hold a value of over $44 billion USD. Gnosis aims to deliver important Layer 2 characteristics, including reduced transaction costs and effective throughput, to meet the growing demands of the DeFi transaction volumes. It is secured by more than 100,000 validators. Further, as a DAO, anyone can participate in the project’s governance. A number of DApps including POAP, Dark forest and Curve.fi are powered by Gnosis. The max supply of GNO tokens is capped at 3 million.
