Dash Price (DASH-USD)

Launched in 2014 by Evan Duffield and Kyle Hagan, this open-source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency is geared for faster and cost-effective payments in the DeFi space. Dash includes a two-tier network, decentralized governance and instant immutability. Dash is portable and fast, giving users the ability to spend securely with low transaction fees. The project aims to be the most scalable payments system globally and offers instant (InstantSend) and private (coinJoin) transactions. Moreover, the PrivateSend feature ensures improved privacy and makes it expensive to carry out a sustained attack on the privacy network. At the end of 2021, DASH had a quarterly payment volume of ~$4.5 billion and daily active addresses of about 54,000. The total supply of DASH coins is capped at ~18.92 million.
