What is Cardano?
Cardano
Set up in 2017 by Charles Hoskinson, this open source PoS platform aims to enable positive change and innovation. Holders of the ADA token can take part in the functioning of the network and can vote on any changes to the software.
Cardano was founded on peer-reviewed research, and with the Ouroboros protocol its security can protect large-scale data while also providing the scalability to support global systems.
Every transaction on the platform is immutably recovered and securely validated with the use of a multi-signature extended UTXO model.
The network continues to expand as more stake pools are added and its governance model positions it uniquely for future development.
