Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Asset-backed Mining ModelOwning and operating the Omagh underground mine plus on-site processing creates durable operational optionality: when commercial production resumes it enables vertically integrated concentrate production and direct exposure to gold/silver sales, supporting long-term cash generation potential tied to physical assets.
Low Leverage / Sizable EquityA low debt load and meaningful equity base provide financial flexibility for exploration and project development, lowering refinancing and interest risks. This balance-sheet strength helps absorb operating volatility and supports funding capex or permitting without immediate need for high-cost borrowing.
Improving Free Cash Flow TrendA less-negative free cash flow trajectory signals improving operational cash conversion or tighter cost control, which, if sustained, reduces external financing dependence. This trend can lengthen the company’s runway for development and lowers structural dilution risk over the medium term.
Bears Say
No Revenue / Persistent LossesAbsence of reported revenue means the business currently cannot self-sustain operations from sales; persistent multi-year losses erode retained equity and increase reliance on external financing. This raises execution risk for advancing the Omagh Project toward sustained production.
Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowContinued negative operating and free cash flow represent ongoing cash burn that will require financing to sustain exploration and development. Structurally, this heightens refinancing and dilution risk and limits the company’s ability to fund capex or scale operations without external capital.
Negative Return On EquityA negative ROE indicates the company is not generating positive returns on shareholders' capital and that equity is being consumed by losses. Over time this undermines balance-sheet resilience and makes raising additional capital more difficult and expensive.
