Corcel Exploration has received official acceptance of its reclamation bond from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management for the Yuma King copper-gold project in Arizona, clearing the way for site preparations and drilling to begin. The company plans a 1,500-metre diamond core program across six to eight drill sites targeting skarn and porphyry-style mineralization near the historic Yuma King Mine, where past drilling recorded notable copper, gold and silver intersections.
Alongside drilling preparations, Corcel has launched a 10-line kilometre induced polarization geophysical survey over the Yuma King West and Yuma King Mine targets to refine its geological model and pinpoint drill locations. By integrating new IP data with previous drone magnetics and surface geochemistry, the company aims to confirm and expand known mineralization, identify new high-grade zones and efficiently advance the Yuma King project’s exploration potential.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:CRCL) stock is a Hold with a C$0.18 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Corcel Exploration stock, see the TSE:CRCL Stock Forecast page.
Corcel Exploration has appointed Chartered Professional Accountant Thy Truong to its board of directors, replacing Oliver Friesen, and has issued 200,000 incentive stock options exercisable at $0.22 for five years under its stock option plan. Truong, who holds senior finance and governance roles at Vizsla Silver Corp. and Tarachi Gold Corp., brings extensive public accounting and mining-sector expertise that the company expects will support the advancement of its flagship Yuma King copper-gold asset in Arizona and strengthen its financial oversight as it develops its North American project portfolio.
Corcel Exploration has appointed experienced mining finance executive Grant Tanaka as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Kyle Nazareth, as the company seeks to bolster its financial leadership and public company expertise while advancing its exploration strategy. In conjunction with the management change, Corcel granted 2.22 million stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants, a move that aligns incentives with long-term shareholder value as the company progresses its copper and gold projects in North America.
