Established in 1987 and based in Asan, South Korea, Kyongbo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is a key player in the South Korean pharmaceutical market, primarily focusing on the production and distribution of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Its API offerings span general, cephalosporin, and anti-cancer categories. Beyond APIs, the company also supplies a range of finished pharmaceutical products, including prescription medications for anesthetic, cardiovascular, and digestive uses, as well as antibiotics, alongside its over-the-counter (OTC) drug portfolio. Kyongbo Pharmaceutical extends its reach internationally, exporting its goods to 30 countries worldwide. The company officially adopted its current name, Kyongbo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, in March 2002, having previously been known as Kyongbo Chemical Co. Ltd.
