Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Improving ProfitabilityThe sustained expansion in net and gross margins indicates better operating efficiency and profitability across the diversified business. If maintained, this provides greater resilience against demand fluctuations and strengthens internally generated capital.
Conservative Balance SheetVery low and declining leverage gives Kurabo financial flexibility to withstand cyclical conditions, fund operations, and selectively invest without heavy dependence on external financing. The stronger equity base also supports long-term balance-sheet resilience.
Recent Positive Free Cash FlowThe return to positive free cash flow after FY2023 demonstrates that the company can convert its operations into funding for reinvestment, debt management, or shareholder returns. Continued positive generation would reinforce financial resilience across its industrial portfolio.
Bears Say
Persistent Revenue ContractionSeveral years of declining revenue raise concerns about demand, market competitiveness, or portfolio growth in the textile and industrial businesses. Margin improvement is positive, but prolonged top-line weakness could limit scale benefits and future earnings expansion.
Uneven Cash ConversionCash conversion below earnings suggests working-capital movements or timing effects can weaken the quality and predictability of reported profits. This may constrain reinvestment capacity and make internally funded growth less consistent despite positive recent free cash flow.
Moderate Returns On EquityImproving ROE confirms better use of the capital base, but the still-moderate level indicates that profitability has not yet become a strong competitive differentiator. This may limit the company’s ability to compound shareholder capital at an exceptional rate.
