Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Business Model DiversificationCETY's mix of equipment sales, engineering/installation projects and potential aftermarket services creates multiple revenue levers and customer touchpoints. That durable project-plus-service model supports long-term customer relationships, recurring service opportunities and higher lifetime value per client.
Improved LeverageA marked reduction in reported debt-to-equity suggests the balance sheet's solvency profile has improved versus prior stressed periods. Lower leverage increases financial flexibility to withstand operating losses, reduces near-term default risk, and improves capacity to fund project execution or secure project financing.
Board Expertise & GovernanceAdding directors with deep energy-sector and institutional finance experience strengthens strategic oversight and investor relations. Independent board members with China/new-energy networks can materially aid partnerships, capital access and execution in target industrial and international markets over the medium term.
Bears Say
Persistent Cash BurnConsistent negative operating and free cash flows indicate the business cannot self-fund growth or cover recurring expenses. Persistent cash burn forces repeated external financing, limits reinvestment in product development or backlog delivery, and raises dilution and refinancing risk over the medium term.
Volatile Revenue & Heavy LossesSharp revenue swings and a severely negative net margin reflect weak earnings power and poor operational scalability at current volumes. Structural unprofitability erodes equity, undermines competitive investment, and makes sustainable margin recovery contingent on durable top-line improvement and cost discipline.
Listing & Liquidity RiskNasdaq non-compliance notices expose the company to delisting risk and reduced access to public capital. Coupled with recent short-term convertible and subordinated financings, governance and liquidity pressures can constrain equity raises, limit employee equity incentives and impair long-term funding flexibility.
