Edison International: Strong 2025 Guidance and Value Opportunity Amid Wildfire ChallengesWe reiterate our Outperform rating and update our estimates to reflect current guidance, and adjust our PT to $66 (prev. $75.00) to reflect current multiples and estimates. around wildfire plans. EIX highlighted they are working with all parties to try and find the cause of the Eaton fire, which has yet to be determined. Unfortunately for investors, management highlighted the investigation could take time and spoke about previous fires that took 12-18 months to resolve. Most important, EIX believes their actions would be viewed as prudent, and even in a worse case scenario, a reasonable operator of the system. The importance of this is it would provide clarity on the amount of contribution they would have to give to the wildfire fund.
