Net new assets totaled CHF 11.3 billion (6.8% growth YoY), the highest nominal NNA since the global financial crisis and the second-highest growth rate in company history.
Record Operating Performance
Operating income was CHF 493 million, up 26% year-on-year, and core private banking operating profit was CHF 425 million (+18% YoY), reflecting improved revenue conversion and operational leverage.
Record IFRS Net Profit and EPS
Reported IFRS net profit was a record CHF 325 million (CHF 339 million excluding exceptionals, +6% YoY), with highest-ever EPS of CHF 1.03 and return on tangible equity above 18%.
Revenue Growth and Margin Resilience
Total revenue grew 11% in 2025 (8% excluding exceptionals); full-year revenue margin improved to 98 basis points (from 96), H2 revenue margin 93 bps (up vs prior update), and commission income rose 17% with commission margin at 46 bps.
Mandate Penetration and Recurring Revenues
Mandate penetration reached 67% (within target range 65%-70%), supporting a higher share of recurring commission income and improved revenue quality.
Cost Management and Efficiency Gains
Headline cost-to-income ratio improved to 69.8%; Simplicity program exceeded targets delivering CHF 66 million of savings (vs initial CHF 40m target and extended CHF 60m target). New 2026–28 efficiency program targets CHF 70–80 million.
Capital and Liquidity Strength
Common Equity Tier 1 ratio reported at 14% (effectively ~14.4% after potential instrument call), strong gross capital generation of over 500 basis points during the year and net capital generation of 1.6%; LCR at 270% and liquid assets >CHF 18 billion.
Commercial and Strategic Momentum
Three acquisitions announced in 12 months (two adding ~CHF 12 billion AUM included in 2025 results; Quilvest announced in Jan 2026 adds ~CHF 4 billion), total CRO headcount 763, 79 CROs hired/signed in 2025, and AUM per CRO (like-for-like) at CHF 363 million.
Derisking of Legacy Insurance Exposure
Life-insurance carrying value reduced to ~CHF 260 million at end-2025 (from CHF 360m end-2024 and >CHF 500m at cycle start), reflecting active derisking and lower expected future P&L volatility from this book.
