The company possesses full ownership of the Agbaja iron ore and steel project in Nigeria's Kogi State, in addition to holding a stake in the Mogul VMS project situated in Western Australia. Established in 1980 and headquartered in Peppermint Grove, Australia, the company adopted its current name, Macro Metals Limited, in December 2022, having previously operated as Kogi Iron Limited.
