S&P Global Announces New CEO and Leadership Changes

S&P Global (SPGI) just unveiled an update.

S&P Global Inc. has announced a significant leadership shift with the retirement of CEO and President Douglas L. Peterson, slated for November 1, 2024. Martina L. Cheung, who has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and held various leadership positions, will take over as CEO and President. Cheung’s appointment follows a comprehensive succession planning process, signaling continuity and confidence in her abilities to steer the company forward. Yann Le Pallec will replace Cheung as President of S&P Global Ratings. Cheung’s new role comes with an increased salary and bonus structure, reflecting the board’s trust in her leadership.
