Pampa Energía Accepts Payment Deal, Ensures Solvency

Pampa Energia SA (PAM) has released an update.

Pampa Energía S.A. has agreed to a payment proposal by CAMMESA, which will see the energy company receive outstanding receivables for December 2023 and January 2024 in the form of Argentine government bonds, and a cash payment for February 2024 transactions. The deal results in a total loss of $58.5 million for Pampa Energía, including unrecorded accrued interests. Despite this, the company maintains that its solvency and ability to meet financial obligations remain unaffected, and it plans to continue investing in the expansion of Argentina’s energy infrastructure.
