IMI plc has reported the purchase and subsequent cancellation of 87,079 of its own ordinary shares on September 5, 2024, at an average price of 1,787.61 pence per share. This transaction will reduce the total number of ordinary shares in issue to 273,343,314 and the total number of voting rights to 259,694,478. The shares were acquired through various trading venues, with Merrill Lynch International facilitating the transaction.
