ETF Overview
Tema Space Innovators ETF
Tema Space Innovators ETF (NASA) is an actively managed, theme-focused ETF that gives investors targeted exposure to the commercial space economy. Positioned in the “space” niche of the broader sector/theme category, the fund seeks growth by investing in companies across the full value chain of space activity—from satellite manufacturers and launch providers to ground infrastructure, propulsion systems, sensors, robotics, and data-analytics firms that enable space-enabled services.
Rather than tracking a fixed index, NASA’s active management selects companies it believes are best placed to benefit from secular trends such as satellite constellation deployments, low-cost launch proliferation, miniaturization of electronics, expanded Earth-observation and geospatial analytics, and rising private and public investment in space infrastructure and services. The portfolio can include pure-play space firms as well as upstream and downstream enablers—semiconductor and optics suppliers, aerospace component manufacturers, defense contractors with space capabilities, and software and data companies that monetize space-derived information.
The ETF pursues broad, diversified exposure by investing across market caps and geographies, allowing investors to access both established aerospace leaders and smaller, high-growth innovators. NASA is designed for investors seeking thematic growth driven by long-term technological and commercial adoption in the space economy, recognizing that this exposure can be more volatile and concentrated than broad-market strategies.
In short, Tema Space Innovators ETF offers a focused, actively managed approach to capture the evolving commercial opportunities of space—combining hardware makers, service providers, and data-driven companies that together form the emerging ecosystem of the space economy.
