Black Iron Inc. has appointed Stephen Woodhead as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Paul Bozoki. Woodhead brings over 30 years of experience in the resource sector, having held significant roles in various mining companies across the globe. This change in leadership is expected to leverage Woodhead’s extensive international experience to further advance Black Iron’s strategic goals, particularly in the development of its Shymanivske Iron Ore Project in Ukraine.
Black Iron has signed a multi-year land lease agreement with Kryvyi Rih City for 248 hectares of land crucial for the Shymanivske Iron Ore Project. This lease is vital for the completion of environmental and engineering studies necessary for renewing their mining permit, and it marks a significant step in their plans to expand operations, potentially impacting future processing plant locations and stockpiles.
