Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Strong Revenue GrowthSustained ~22% revenue growth indicates durable demand and likely share gains across Fujikura's core markets. Over a multi-quarter horizon this supports capacity utilization, long-term supplier/customer contracts, and reinvestment capacity, underpinning durable top-line momentum.
Improving MarginsMaterial margin improvement and rising EBIT/EBITDA margins reflect operational leverage and better product mix. If sustained, higher margins improve cash conversion, fund capex or deleveraging, and create buffer versus cyclicality in energy, telecom, and auto end markets.
Strong Cash Generation & Balance SheetAlmost 18% FCF growth plus a near-50% equity ratio indicate robust cash conversion and a solid capital structure. This supports capex funding, R&D and working capital needs, and provides flexibility to withstand slower cycles without immediate financing stress.
Bears Say
High Absolute LiabilitiesDespite improved ratios, large absolute liabilities remain a structural risk if revenue or cash flow weakens. High liabilities can constrain strategic flexibility, increase interest exposure and refinancing needs, and magnify downside in prolonged cyclical downturns.
Earnings VolatilityPast net-income volatility reduces predictability of free cash flow and complicates capital allocation. For multi-quarter planning this undermines visibility on returns, raises the cost of financing, and can force conservative investment or payout decisions during uncertain periods.
Rely On Cyclical Capex And Auto VolumesRevenue exposure to infrastructure capex cycles and automotive production creates structural demand swings. Over 2-6 months this can pressure utilization and order visibility, requiring conservative inventory and flexible cost management to avoid margin erosion in downturns.
