Xampla is a UK-based materials innovation company that develops natural materials from plant proteins to replace single-use plastics. As a spin-out from the University of Cambridge, Xampla has introduced Morro™ materials, a world-first natural polymer alternative that is plastic-free, biodegradable, and home compostable. These materials are designed to replace polluting plastics in various applications, including packaging and microencapsulates, maintaining recyclability and offering a sustainable solution to the global plastic pollution crisis. Through strategic partnerships, Xampla aims to significantly reduce plastic waste by replacing billions of single-use plastic items.
