Video game publisher Take-Two (TTWO) released a single trailer for Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 on Dec. 4, 2023, and hasn’t provided fans any new footage of the game since then. That’s despite the hype for the game remaining strong, with the first trailer having amassed more than 248 million views and 12 million thumbs up.
Take-Two argues that its method of remaining radio silent on GTA 6 helps maintain anticipation. CEO Strauss Zelnick said as much in an interview last month when he claimed that releasing updates closer to the launch of the game generates more excitement.
