What Stocks Did Cathie Wood Buy and Sell on February 9? Roblox (RBLX) Leads ARK Trades

Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest ETFs (exchange-traded funds) made a notable move on Monday, February 9, buying nearly $10 million worth of Roblox (RBLX) shares. The firm acquired 145,603 shares through its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF).

The buying came just days after the company reported strong fourth-quarter numbers and an upbeat bookings outlook. Several analysts have turned more optimistic on the gaming platform, pointing to improving engagement and higher spending by older users. Wood’s purchase suggests she may be leaning into that same growth story.

Other Stocks ARK Bought

ARK also added to healthcare innovation plays. The firm purchased 156,272 shares of Recursion Pharmaceuticals (RXRX), an AI-driven drug discovery company, worth about $622,000, and bought 54,600 shares of TharImmune (THAR) valued at roughly $226,000.

Where ARK Reduced Positions

At the same time, Wood reduced exposure to software and digital advertising names, starting with PagerDuty (PD).  She sold 147,125 shares through the ARKK and ARKW ETFs for about $1.18 million. ARK has been cutting this position in recent days, signaling lower conviction in the stock.

The firm also sold 46,800 shares of Pinterest (PINS) worth roughly $917,000 and cut The Trade Desk (TTD) by 24,157 shares for about $653,000. The moves suggest ARK is shifting capital toward companies where it sees stronger growth potential.
