SoundHound AI, Inc Class A shares climbed 9.83% over the past week as investors reacted to a string of strong quarterly numbers and largely upbeat analyst coverage. The voice AI specialist delivered its best quarter and year on record, with Q4 revenue rising 59% year over year to about $55 million and EPS beating expectations by a wide margin at a loss of just $0.02 per share. On an annual basis, revenue nearly doubled to $169 million, signaling that the company’s niche in voice recognition and natural language processing is gaining traction across multiple industries.
Growth was powered by a surge in enterprise demand, particularly in the automotive and restaurant sectors. SoundHound AI expanded its footprint with major carmakers in Japan and Korea and deepened partnerships with big restaurant chains such as Panda Express, IHOP and Jersey Mike’s through its drive‑thru and phone-order automation platform. Management also issued bullish 2026 guidance, projecting revenue between $225 million and $260 million, implying growth of roughly one‑third to more than half from 2025 levels, and outlined long‑term targets for gross margins above 70% and EBIT margins above 30% as it scales toward profitability.
Analyst sentiment helped underpin the week’s advance, even as some on Wall Street urged caution. Cantor Fitzgerald reiterated a Buy rating with a $15 price target, and D.A. Davidson also stayed bullish, contributing to a Strong Buy consensus and an average target near $16.20 on TipRanks. Piper Sandler’s James Fish, however, trimmed his target to $9 and kept a Hold rating, citing concerns about profitability and the need for potentially aggressive moves or acquisitions to hit growth goals. Negative insider sentiment, with increased share sales over the past quarter, adds a note of risk, but for investors seeking high‑growth AI exposure, the latest results and outlook were enough to push SoundHound AI, Inc Class A sharply higher this week.
